Mr. Konis is a highly acclaimed art instructor and travels nationally to teach, exhibit, juror, and also to consult to various universities and schools, such as the Carrizo Lodge Art Center in Ruidoso, New Mexico (this Poster is from the 1982-1983 Workshops there). He has said that he "strives to portray the American Indian's proud struggle and deep reverence for life in his work". He is one of twelve prominent artists featured in the book, "Masters of Western Art". Mr. Konis has been featured in the book, "Contemporary Western Artists" by Peggy & Harold Samuels, and in "Southwest Art Magazine".
