Hopi Wuyak Taiowa (Broad-Faced-Katsina) 7 1/2" missing ears, hands and fan of feathers on the head. ca. 1930-1940. Nowadays the Hopi refer to this Katsina as Wuyak Kuita, the Broad-Headed Katsina, and the appearance is different. This is the "old styled" hanging Katsina of painted cottonwood with case mask and loin cloth with fox tail, painted in yellow, black pink, white and red.****Artist: Unknown
