Curtis - Shadow Catcher, and were used to advertise a book recently published by Pomegrante of the photographer's work. Geronimo (1829-1909) was a Great War leader of the Apaches in Arizona and Curtis (1868-1952) took this reflective photo of the Indian warrior in March of 1905 in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, while Geronimo and other famous chiefs and warriors were waiting to travel to Washington, D.C., to march in the Inaugural Parade for President Theodore Roosevelt. Each poster measures 25" tall x 19" wide with the sepia tone image at 16" x 11".
